How do you heal a broken heart?

I was in a play for the past few months. The final performance was on wednesday, april 22nd. The guy I really like was there. Him and one of my friends decided to play a trick on me saying that James (the guy I like) was going on a date with a girl named Kimberly, because they thought that my friend liked James and they thought that I would tell her. But when I ran out of the room almost in tears, I don’t really think they cared. Well my friend did but I don’t know if James did. I’ll never see him again due to the fact that he’s homeschooled. But EVERY SINGLE THING that I do I can’t help but think of James. I called him today and he sounded like he didn’t even want to talk to me. All of my friends are trying to cheer me up but it’s not working whatsoever. James has had my heart for quite some time. How do I get over him because I can’t go on like this!!!

first of all, I’m sorry that your friends thought it was funny to pull a prank like that. it really sucks when stuff happens.

I would have to say that you need to go spend a day with your friends, go shopping, get a mani-pedi, just a girl day. get through that without thinking if james is thinking about you. you need to realize that you are strong, beautiful and independent. All the time I’ve known you, you’ve never needed a guy to make you feel good!!! be that girl!!!

get out there and meet someone else. Forget james, delete his number, delete his webpage, do whatever you can to forget him… don’t sit around and wait for his call, it won’t happen, he can’t treat you this way and if he knows he’s doing this thats even worse. Find someone who will call you every time he starts thinking about you. Trust me girl, there are SOME nice guys out there, better go find one before some b* takes him :)
