How do you find the nose and the tail of a skateboard?
In old school skateboards, the nose was flat & round, the tail was curved upwards. However, most of the skateboards they sell now are freestyle boards, which are exactly the same on both ends, so the concept has lost it's meaning, if you're referring to a newer skateboard.
look at the graphic on the bottom of the board then paint your bolts a different collour or cut a line out of your griptape so you can tell while you are standing on it.
the nose is usually a little bit slimmer in width and the tail is more flaired out in a squashed square shape so yea. go sk8
Most skate boards now ,theres not a difrence ,but you could tell by the design on the bottom of the board.
Well, its strange but the nose is actually the longer end of the board!
