first you take a look a your diet - is it balanced and change it accordingly ( then stick to it) then you have to assess whether or not your burning more calories than your taking in so if you ate a pizza with 1000 calories but your only working 900 off you will gain weight so increase the amount of physical activities you do. this doesnt mean run a 4 minute mile after lunch you should gradually increase the intensity of your activities so you dont cause any serious injuries, also keep hydrated drink plenty of water many people overlook the importance of hydration. btw one thing muscle weighs more than fat so once the fats gone you stepped on the scales and find your heavier than before thats why - make sure it is muscle dont kid urself because a lot of willpower and motivation is also needed, any questions on this just ask.
