How do I lock a question?

  um, you can't.. you're not an advisor or administrator. you can't delete questions either, but you can mark them as anonymous so that they don't show up under your username.. just go to your profile then click "my questions" and go on from there.

  I'm pretty sure it has to be a really popular question that is very common and has many answers.

  You need to be an Advisor to lock a question - we lock anything thats against the Terms of Use.
