How do I leave him and not hurt him?

ok I went to my sis a social site and I was looking up my boyfriend and I saw it say in a relationship with someone else…so I broke it up with him…ok bear with me but he swears up and down that that was before he was with me…ok but I left it alone and I was talking with someone else and im happy with that person a good long time friend. but my ex is IM ing me and he’s giving me kisses and hugs and that its ok to vent and he still calls me baby. and I start to cry. I love him as a person not as my boyfriend anymore he really hurt me. so how can I say to him in a nice way I just want to be friends and not hurt him?

Yeah I just went through a break up he took it well at first but when I left and went onto a social site he had sent me horrible msgs I dealt with it

but guys take it differently you need to do it soon so you dont lead him on tell him that you dont trust what happened and that you cant be with him anymore but still would like to be friends it can be hard to be friends sometimes…

There’s really no way to say to someone you “just want to be friends” and not hurt them, but do it sooner rather than later as the longer you put if off the more it’ll hurt him AND you. Be warned that depending on how he reacts he may not want to talk to you for awhile. It’s unfortunate that there isn’t a way but it’s the truth. Hope things work out ^^
