How could I start or end a sppech?

how could I start a speech or end it. I have to do a speech about child labor for sunday school. any ideas? any help would be appreciated. thank you =]

well to start a speech there are several good ways.

  1. ask a question

  2. suggest a scenario

  3. start big and narrow it down.

  4. How often do you think child labor laws are still violated ?

  5. Let’s pretend you work 40 hours a week to help feed your family. Everyone in your family works, and you’re just making ends meet. Now imagine if you were an 8 year old boy and still working the same hours as your dad. Child labor used to be an every day occurance, and today we think it’s pretty much gone. But it still is a big issue in other countries. Child labor laws must be upheld and strict to prevent our country from slipping back into it’s old ways.

to end a speech you want to basically repeat everything you said in your introduction, and recap on all of the examples you made in the speech.

so because of , and _, Child labor must be stopped with appropriate laws.

no dont do it that way you want 2 catch your readers in one sentence. so start off with an exotic or hard thinking question then end it with your 3 main reasons
