How come it is so difficult to not eat?

I’ve been trying to not eat. unless when my parents force me. but itss so hard I cant help but eating.

YOu can help something that your body needs. I’ve tried it believe me, and I end up eathing 2 days a week. Just eat little and drink tons and tons of water.

As said, people need food. If you’re worried about weight try eating more meals rather than fewer big ones, and filling up on healthier foods rather than trying to eat less: mostly whole grain foods, next highest veggies and fruits, meat including fish twice a week, eggs, nuts and 1/2 tsp. iodized salt if it’s not already in your food. A little unblocked sunlight each day too. All are essential.

Starving yourself only hurts yourself, then inevitably you can’t withstand the damage any more and crash and gain weight instead.

because your body needs food to survive youll die without food as soon as your body is hungry it lets you know if it doesnt get food it eats its fat stores and puts on anything you do eat straight on as fat not eating is the stupidest thing a person can do in an attempt to loose weight its dangerouse to your health

Because eating isn’t a sin! O.o Your parents are trying to help you, they care for you and don’t want you developing an eating disorder which is what you will develop if you continue not trying to eat.

it is never a good idea to NOT eat. you are depriving your body of nutrients that it needs.

if losing weight is what you’re after, maybe instead of cutting out food all together, you can eat healthier

If you plan on not eating to lose weight thats a horrible idea. Your body will actually switch to survival mode and every little bit of food you eat will be stored as fat in your body. Your body will believe that it will go through another famine and need the fat stored up to survive the time you do not have food.

Why do you think every expert and nutritionist very first focus is food? You need a balanced diet. A lot of specialist recommends 5 small meals a day. Stay away from red meat and stick with lean protein like chicken turkey and fish. Eat your veggies and drink plenty of water.

Your body NEEDS to eat. Stop trying not to eat, rather when you do want to eat, eat healthy foods. That way you won’t get fat AND your body will get all the important nutrients that it needs.

Also people who eat constantly throughout the day (healthily) have better, faster metabolisms than those who don’t AND they have more energy.

So stop this nonsense and EAT.

you can do lasting damage to your body by not eating. it can cause heart problems, vitamin deficiencies, severe fatigue, and a decline in concentration among other health problems. you should eat a well balanced diet including fruit and vegetables. emphasis on the fruit and vegetables!!! ;)
