How can I uninstall IMVU ?

I went to Start - Control Panel - Add/Remove Programs and then highlighted IMVU, clicked Change/Remove button to remove it from my computer. However, I failed again; I still could not remove it completely. After I fought for tooth and nail but still failed, I was so down and didn’t know what to do. Was there any way I can forcibly and fully uninstall this dad-burned IMVU? Again my dear net pal gave me some directions: why not ask the third party software to help you? Then with the last hope, I downloaded a removal tool online and ran it immediately - with few clicks, it did use brute force to remove IMVU once and for all! I didn’t have any problems when I deleted it. Then again, I have windows vista, so whatever OS you are using may be more susceptible to the virus.

Go to Control Panel and open Programs and Features. You should find IMVU in there and be able to delete it. If that doesn’t work, restart your computer and run it in Safe mode, that is, if that option is available to you.

In Windows XP, open the start menu and click Help and Support. Another window will open. In the search box type: removing programs and click the one that says ‘uninstall programs’ there should be a link on the page that opens the Programs and Features. Or, type Programs and Features into the search on the start menu.
