How can I motivate myself through my diet?

I find it very difficult to stay motivated whilst dieting, which generally results in a failed diet. Also through my diet I dont exercise everyday, which I would like to, but yet again I lack motivation. So what I am asking is, if anyone has any tips for staying motivated, and/or any effective exercises that I can do everyday, that take up to an hour to do, it would be extremely helpful to let me know!
