How can I change her mind?

My bestfriend has liked me for awhile. I just recently admitted to liking him too. We really want to date eachother. But my mom doesnt approve. She loves him as a person but she doesnt want me to date him. I dont understand why shes never had a problem with any of my other boyfriends. Shes also saying I can’t hang out with him because we like eachother. What can I do to make her think differantly? He is going to talk to her about it Wensday.

There is a reason she doesnt want this to happen. She’s not crazy or irrational, she believes she has a good reason. Talk to her. Tell her whatever her problem is with him, you deserve to know, and you will handle it… But it is not fair of her to keep it from you.
