Help slightly heat broken

Theres this guy I’ve had an unofficial thing going with for about 6 months, we are really good friends as well. I’ve been really upset lately so last night we fineally had a chance to talk and I told him how I’m fed up with being a “beck and call girl” to guys, and I really want a proper relationship. He basically put across the message that he had given up looking for love, and that me and him look for love and end up with lust. This obviously made me feel like sh*t about myself, as though I am only for one thing. I know he doesn’t mean to hurt me. But what makes this whole situation so much worse is I think I want a relationship with him, when ever anything reminds me of him I smile, I see him and I all of a sudden get really happy. I need to know what to do! Should I move on or try and talk to him again?

Well you could try putting it straight up once more so he really gets the message but if he says he isn’t interested then he just isn’t and you’ve got to move on.
