He is joining the army and going to iraq

There is this guy who I im in love with.He has decide to join the army to go to iraq. This week he got a letter saying that they accept him and he is going to leave school to go to the army.He has no idea how I feel about him, and im still devistated even though I found out this morning.Life doesnt seem to hold any more intrest for me now that I know he will probably die. I dont know what to do! Should I tell him how I feel? Most of you will say yes right? But remember im probably the wierdest girl in our school and he is probably the most popular.Im not pretty and I’ve been told that a lot, so should I risk humiliatin or let him leave without knowing how I feel? Ok so tell how you feel but don’t break it all at onece tell him that you have feelings for him and how you feel about him joining the army. PS if he gos to school befor joining the army he proply won’t die because he wil be to valuable

if he’s been to college before joining, he will probably be higher ranked than the others just coming in. I dont know technical terms or anything but im sure he wont be sent out this quickly anyway. most of my friends who are in the military have to request over and over again to get proper training quickly so that they can go to war. it normally takes awhile and he’ll be more valued with schooling. talk to him and just tell him how you feel about it. theres a possibility he could change what he wants to do in the army.
