Why is it that if we are so happy we cry, and if we are so sad we cry?

its the way are hormones are blanced when somthing is over the top our natrual reaction is to cry beccause when there is to much excitement or releif (yes this goes for happy and sad) it pushes the hormones over the top

Cry for joy, cry for sadness, don’t exacly know why but i guess that is the way it is.

i think it’s b/c they are both such powerful emotions we have the same sign for both of them…crying for happiness and for saddness.
