I agree, it looks like you just popped a vessel. If the pain doesn’t go away in a few days, or if you experience any numbness or tingling, you should go see a doctor if possible. If it hurts, just take some over-the-counter painkillers. You can try putting ice on it or soaking it in hot water, but that will just help with the pain, it won’t really make it heal faster. Just go easy on it for a few days. :)

Well, doing strenuous things to it might make it hurt more, but I doubt it would cause lasting damage. Just be aware that it’ll be more sensitive than usual. :)
