You get naked below the waist and they lay you on a table with your feet in stirrups and they examine your v@gina, and usually swab the inside for any stds or infections. It last a whole five minutes and then its over.

Gyno exams include a variety of things as a pap smear wich is the process mandyloo mentioned above. They also examine your chest area and help you with your female issues that may be going on. They are many different exams your gyno can peform depending on your symptoms. Depending on your age and sex life a general gyno exam is a pap smea.

i had that done not even a month ago and the swab is quite uncomfortable but i agree it is over in about 5 minutes. i didnt like it at all though. the only reason i had it done was because i got gang rapped by two guys. :/
