Well, what can I say: Good German teams are very good, .....
..... but at the moment Werder Bremen is not one of them.

and like their performance on the field, it can at best be described as below average.
Generally speaking, you get better quality football and entertainment from the stronger English, Spanish and Italian teams.

Half the team they were a few years ago. They heavily rely on aging players like Frings, who they should have replaced 2 years ago. They never replaced Özil properly when he left, and have not been the same since then. The balance of power in the Bundesliga is shifting a little, away from the old guard of teams like that.
