It’s a system that puts ads on a site. The site then makes money every time the ad gets clicked. People trying to sell certain stuff will post their ad with Google so it can show up on other sites. It’s a pretty common way for places to make money all around actually. Google makes money because people pay to put their ads up. The people with the ads make money for the clicks, and the people trying to sell stuff usually reach a large enough audience to do so :)

I was reading about it on “my settings” and it says you get paid. Lol DO you need paypal for it?

For what part of it? Using Adsense on your site? Not sure. That seems like a logical way for Google to pay you though, so I would assume either that or an address for them to mail a check to you. Checks are out of date though, so I’d guess Paypal. That’s how I get paid for everything I do :)
