Does anyone have a good question like relli good!?!?
I always liked that question. It makes people go "hmm" at parties.
The answer: our body temperature is what it is largely because the process of converting food to energy generates a lot of waste heat, and the easiest way to get rid of extra waste heat is to dump it into the surrounding air. When the air temperature around us rises, we have nowhere to put the excess heat, and we start feeling uncomfortable.
I'm not sure you got that one quite right, steph. Might want to read that over and give it another go :)
Why aren't human beings comfortable at a room temperature of 98.6 degrees?
How much wood, would a woodchuck chuck, if a woodchuck could chuck wood?
