What's a good hairstyle for medium length curly hair?

Kay, obviously not for me. My friend’s 14 and her Grade 8 Graduation is on June 22. She wants to know some different hairstyles she could try out. She doesn’t really want one where it’s up, because she says that makes her cheeks look fat. So, any suggestions people? And if you attach pictures that would help me alot so I can show her ^_^ (please please help me or else she’ll claw my eyes out!!) Oh, and if it helps, she has a sort of oval shaped face. Kind of like an egg.

in this case you should straighten her hair and add volume to her crown maybe you can add a little bow somewhere in there. :) enjoy!
