Girls, depression and hiding behind liquor

Whenever I get depressed or have a bad day, when I get home I just start pounding vodka, right out of the bottle. but I only have one reason to be depressed. my job is awsome, I couldn’t ask for better family and friends. but I havn’t had a girlfriend in a little over year, and I have tried. I use to be a pimp, but right when I hit college I just kept striking out. and then after being rejected quite a few times I lost my confidence, and thats how I use to get all my women, with my confidence. and now im at a standstill, I dropped out of college. and I just don’t meet any new women. I don’t know what to do, so tonight when I get home im going to pound some more vodka, can anyone help me with this

Alcohol may keep you going but it is probably what keeps you alone too… You cannot have a serious relationship and a drinking problem. The two just do not mix.

Now look, fine rejection sucks, but number wise you’re bound to find someone eventually if you just keep trying. Be honest with yourself. How has alcohol hindered your past attempts with making a connection with a girl…?

Short term alcohol may be helping, but focus on other things… I dont know… internet dating? I know people who are getting married who met their partners online. There are different methods. Dont shun them because of prejudice…

well if you keep telling yourself that drinking is the only thing you have going for you, you’re going to believe it’s true, and alcohol will consume your life. drinking should not be a priority. just because you haven’t had a girlfriend for a year doesn’t mean there is something wrong with you.. instead of staying home and drinking, try going out to meet some new people. you need to bring that confidence back up, and turning to the bottle is not going to solve your problems, it’s only going to add to them. only YOU can help yourself.

Don’t think so much about having a girlfriend, trust me, chicks are REALLY confusing, I mean, I’m a girl, and I don’t even get them. They are soo frustraing, just focus on friends because in the end, they’re the ones that are going to be there fore you, not some girl, a person is lucky to end up with one or two good friends instead of some stupid chick, and a big bunck of sucky friends.
