Is a PS3 worth $499?

no, look at the big picture in life, everything is about a dollar and how much its worth. no matter where you go no matter what you do it involves money, between tv, radio advertiseing the only thing they want is your money, they dont care about you or the product there selling. now look at the big picture again 5 years from now how much do you think the ps3 will be worth. my question to you is why do you want it so bad that your willing to give your money to someone else for what, entertainment. ill tell you right now I have the ps2 and the game cube but I play the nes more than both, it has the same thing your looking for entertainment and if I bought one right now comepaired to what your willing to spend on a ps3 I would have 400.00 to buy all the games I want. and you would have a ps3 maybe with 1 game and a controller. what im trying to say dont buy into all this advertisement companys and people put out, to make you think you have to have it, because the truth is when you grow old and die is that ps3 going with you no I didnt think so.
