as there are news of new invention of computers without hardware?
Hardware is just a term for the physical components of a computer. It would be impossible to say there's such a thing as a computer without hardware, as there is always some physical device housing the device that's running the processes and computing. I think what you may be referring to are future super computers, biocomputer and quantum computers. Things like DNA based machines.
Those ideas aren't that new, we have brains that are like biocomputers. It's just that we lack the technology at this point to replicate our brains with the fluidity we need. Quantum computing is merely brute force, relying on parallel computing and multiple states which makes it the more logical of the two. They'd be ideal for linear problem solving, but pattern recognition would be better read by DNA based computers.
Combine the redundancy of a DNA based computer with the infinite parallelism of quantum computing. Imagine if each cell in your body had more computational power than all the human brains in the world combined. That would be the ultimate future computer, in my opinion
I have read this news somewhere which says it is enough if we carry a small device as we keep a pen in our pocket. With this device, a laser screen can be got and also commands can be given for working and later when it is over, this laser monitor will just go off. Though it is nice to visualize things, this might become a reality in coming years.Just watch out
over hundred years ago people did not believe that iron could fly. so why bother lol.... and yes it is possible,
how would a pc with no hardware even turn on?
the PSU is the most underrated piece of hardware in a computer
With a minimum of hardware YES, with none- sorry not possible: how would a user interact?
That would be imposable
