Things you shouldn't allow your dog to eat in large amounts:
Chocolate, coffee, tea, and other items that contain caffeine. Corn Salt Onions and garlic Avocado Bones from poultry, meat, etc... Fish Mushrooms Grapes and raisins Macadamia nuts Milk and other dairy products Moldy or spoiled food Raw eggs Raw meat Sugary foods
Most of these will not harm your dog if it only eats a small amount, however, large amounts or even small amounts given regularly over a long period of time can harm your dog.
Dogs aren't supposed to eat chocolate and not tomatoes, grapes, raisins, and most fruit in general because their stomach can't digest the outside of a grape and other foods like that. And chocolate just isnt good for them. One more thing- nothing sweet and not a lot of any kind of "people food"
Nothing moldy, spoiled or anything raw. Dont feed them chocolate because there is something harmful in the cocoa powder and dont let them get a hold of gum because there is a harmful chemical in gum to dogs.
There are many foods that you should not feed your dog, this website is very helpful and I have turned to it several times when looking for food to feed my dog. http://funadvice.com/r/bh9mfoh9k8d
most dogs can eat anything. things they cant eat are chocolate this can actually kill dogs. also dont feed then anything with brittle bones as it can break and get caught in there throat.
Corn doesn't really hurt them, but Imlonely is right they can't digest it right and its a waste. Pretty sad, that most cheap dog food's first ingedient is corn
grapes and chocolates are two of the biggest no nos. Cooked bones, peppers, onions, mushrooms are also not good for them.
