What are the hardest adjustments to make for a first-year college student?
it varies from person to person. for me, it was living on campus because i went out of state. not knowing anyone, finding a job around to work while i wasn't taking classes, and trying not to get lost in a place you've never been was pretty hard.
but they say the first year is the hardest and that it weeds out the people who want to be there from the people who don't.
Yes, it is case to case basis.
Some are getting used to different classmates in different subjects, lots of exams and drama, going to the library alone, going away from home and misssing your friends who took different courses.
Ive never been to college yet;; but For me,Id probably say being away from home. And living on campus, not knowing anyone.
