What's the element phase for phosphorus?

does anyone know the element phase at room temp for phosphorus

Answer #1

Hi,

Due to its reactivity with air and many other oxygen-containing substances, phosphorus is not found free in nature but it is widely distributed in many different minerals.

One of the forms of red/black phosphorus is a cubic solid. White phosphorus is a yellow, waxy transparent solid.

Hope that helps.
