What was the effect of historical globalization on First Nations people?

I’m learning about globalization in school but don’t fully understand exactly what it was about along with imperialism, also I live in Canada so all the stuff I am learning is based around history in Canada. Thank you.

It mainly headed people towards more integrated economic policies, helping to increase the rate at which innovations in technology came about, which usually comes about due to the fact that many more people can work together on one topic as globalization generally encompasses standardization of many measurements and figures.

This links into the social effects of globalization, as many people sought commodities from this new technology which leads to different classes and types of people in society taking on different roles. The most prominent of these would be womens movements, and the working class asking for higher wages etc…
