How long to take ear rings out if you want them to close up?

If I got my ears pierced 2 years ago, how long should you take them out is you want them to close up?

HUM, I HAD MY EARS PIERCED AT THE AGE OF 5, HATED THEM B/C THEYD ALWAYS GET INFECTED…AT THE AGE OF 6, TOOK EM OUT AND IM ALMOST 20 NOW…THEY STILL AINT CLOSED UP.

if you WANT them to heal up? do you want the holes to close up? if thats the case just leave them out and dont put them back in the holes should fully close up within 1-2 months

it depends. I can take mine out for weeks (3-4) and they do not heal I would only recommend only a week or so to be on the safe side x :)xxx
