Dog wont stop chewing things?

I got a 1 1/2 year old pug male. I am pregnant with my third child and ever since I started to bring my kids old baby clothing into the house the dog started to poop on floor and chews all the babies stuff he finds, even clothing. What can I do?

I think it may possibley be coincidental that the dog’s behavior changed at the same time you started bringing baby clothes into the house.

ANYTIME an animal’s behavior makes a dramatic change in anyway…the first step is to get a thorough examination by a Vet. This is the place to start on figuring out what’s going on.

I don’t know about your dog but my dog only chew’s when he is in pain, he always sems to get these eye growths or infections from cheap grass. It could be that he/she is in pain, or it could just be that he/she likes to chew.

Consider getting chew toys or things for him/her to chew on instead of chewing your things. Good luck! :)

hes getting restless because he probably knows something is going to happen dogs have that kinda sense

I really have no idea what you could do about it though,except for maybe spend a bit more time with him

they sell a spray at pet stores for animals that chew and then get it a toy to chew on..
