Why does my Lab sometimes scoop her ears?

If she does it alot then there maybe a problem. Look in her ears for excessive dirt or discharge and a bad smell. Floppy eared dogs are proned to chronic ear infections caused by yeast. Yeast grows in warm moist areas. The floppy ear doesn’t allow for air flow/exchange like pointed eared dogs.Heat and moisture build up. Try holding her ears on top of her head periodically threwout the day, like when your watching TV. It may help. She might just do it to do it tho. The only way to know for sure it to get a ear cytology from a vet, but often they just prescribe drops that usually clears it up.
