What is the difference among single, twin, king, and queen size mattresses?

Answer #1

Single & twin are the same, then full is bigger, then queen, then king, then California king is the biggest.

Answer #2

I have not ever heard of California King! XD

Answer #3

California king isn’t bigger than a standard king. A standard king is 76x80” and a California king is 72x84” California kings are 4” taller and 4” narrower. The standard king is actually larger in square inches at 6080 vs 6048 for the California King. There are no standard bed sizes larger than king size though some waterbed, futon and mattress manufacturers have come up with their own extra-large sizes. A standard king size bed is the same size as 2 extra long twin beds pushed together. For guest rooms having two EL twins gives maximum flexibility they can be pushed together for couples or apart to sleep people seperately.

Answer #4
