Is there a dictionary of Old English online somewhere?

Answer #2

no, like, online… 4 free

Answer #3

Do you mean Anglo-Saxon (5th-12th century “English”)? Freelang has a tolerable format for finding words.

But if you mean the kind of English Shakespeare used, you’re referring to Elizabethean or Early Modern English. There are a few very good websites that have a dictionary for the words. The best I’ve found though is probably http://funadvice.com/r/153omces2d3

There are also some sites that will translate Elizabethean to modern English if you’re having a hard time understanding.
