Diamond grading report?

I’ve been looking at diamond engagement rings online, and I’ve noticed that the rings with diamonds that haven’t been certified are a little cheaper than the ones that are. I also understand why (they haven’t been graded by experts), but I’m wondering if it’s important to girls to get diamond rings that have been certified or if it even makes a difference?

Answer #1

I’d say that it is important. Don’t become greedy with the one you love, mostly if you say that the price difference isn’t that big. If you’re going to give her something that special, do it right - you’ll do it only once, it’s not like you’re going to do this daily - so pick the diamond that has been certified :) If you think you don’t have enough money, buy a ring with a smaller, certified, diamond. Good luck!

Uncertified diamonds means that it could be a fake made out of glass to look like a diamond however, more likely it could have been a diamond made in a lab. Natural diamonds are always more expensive than those created.

Answer #3

as a girl… I think I’m qualified to answer this.

If a man gets me an uncertified ring it shows he didn’t really care and the ring might be made out of glass.

Tells me a lot about a potential future with him.

The engagement would be a short one.
