I have a BlackBerry Curve 8520, and I have recently installed BlackBerry messenger onto it, but I really don't like it. I hate the fact people can talk to you at anytime, and I'm getting tired of the stupid "bcs" (broadcasts) that people send. So, I've been looking up the internet for some answers on how to delete it, but I can't find anything that is actually useful. Can someone please help? Any advice would be great. Thank you.
Ok I found out how, I was playing around with mine. Go to your Options on your phone whatever folder you have options in, I have mine in setup yours might be in a different folder. Then click on Applications then your gunna wanna go to the top where it has (third party, add-on and core) in a click down. click on Add-On and scroll down to Blackberry Messenger and click the button to preview your options and it has delete there!
I have went onto the menu and clicked on "options" but no "application" is there. When I go to BlackBerry messenger itself and click on options, all I get is "Move, Move to Folder, Hide, Call voice mail, add folder or switch application" there is no delete button :( !
If you go into your Blackberry App World on your phone, go to the end icon my world where it shows all the applications you have downloaded and go to blackberry messenger and press contact support im sure they can take it off for you
You should be able to do it from your applications menu ... find the messenger, then use the options menu and select "delete".
i Have a blackberry and i think you have to go on the blackberry website and they will tell you step by step.
Or just go to ur carriers store and one of the people there know how to take it off, or call them up
no you have to go into the main options folder
Great! Thankyou so much!
your welcome :)
