ran into old classmate and now invovled in an afffair with him. He is so romantic and we are so drawn to each other. he is married and feel like I am settinig myself for heart ache, even though it feels so right. I dont think we intended this it just happ
Honestly, I don't even know where to begin.
Why? Why would you do something like that to his wife? Are you that selfish of a person that you don't care who else you hurt? Does he have kids? Because if he does they will also be hurt by this. Did you know that only about 85% of married men leave their wives for someone else? Do you really think you would be the one that he leaves her for? What would happen if he does? Do you think that he would be faithful to you? He won't, years from now he'll be giving some other stupid girl the sob story about how his wife doesn't understand him, she doesn't do anything for him, she doesn't make him happy, she neglects him...do you see how everything starts with she? Cheating men always make it seem like it's the wife's fault when in reality they can fix their relationship or they can make it worse. Cheating makes it worse.
If this is a relationship that would last then you need to back off and let him get out of his marriage before you two go any farther. He needs to grow up and act like a man, not a selfish little boy who needs to have his cake and eat it to.
I think its wrong that you have accepted to be part of this horrible thing.
his wife is going to be in so much pain when she finds out.
that is ofcourse if she loves him.
he is dating you instead of his wife. if he leaves his wife for you, then you will probably become his wife. and then he will start dating this other girl instead of you who is his wife. its a cycle that never stops.
if he is capable of cheating with his wife for another girl, then that should make you think.
cause if it "feels so right", then maybe one day you would want to get married with this guy too.
which only means he is capable of doing THIS again.
I think you should tell him it was nice but you need to have an honest relationahip with a single guy
