How do I get more creativity/ a better imagination for my art?

i usually look at the things around me and ask myself how it can look even better. creativity is basically tweaking an old idea until it becomes a whole, new one.

well usually people can come up with their own ideas for a drawing but I have to actually look at it and add my own touches to it so it becomes mine and not a copy of theres, i see no creativity in that :/

well, talent can either be something born with or developed. most probably the people who can naturally come up with their own ideas have practiced drawing so many times that it becomes second nature to them. some people just make it look easy when they’re inspired. maybe you have some sort of artist’s block?

i normally lay down in bed at night, and close my eyes for a minute every once in a while and random images pop out in my head. but as soon as i open my eyes i need a pencil right there to write it down or draw a sketch so i can remember. cause in a few seconds it will go away and you cant draw it or you will forget in an instant :D

Um srry to say but u can’t get creativity. Thats something that your born with

but for your art one thing u can do is were ever u go doesn’t matter bring a pencil and pad and draw things u see hope that helps :D I’m not much of an artist so yea

well sorry i dont know cause i have a really really active imagination even more of a kid and im 14 usually i just comme up with stuff like that like last time after doin stuff i turned a straw into a dragon and played with it for an hour XD i suggest u think like a kid again or imagine somethin simple then from there start imaginating more stuff about what u imagined first
