Corn Snake Purchase

I have done a lot of research and decided to buy a corn snake - I have a friend who is selling a 3 yr old striped corn with all the kit for £60.

I’m not sure if I should take this offer or start from scratch and buy all the stuff myself and buy the snake that I really want which is a anerythristic corn hatching.

The hatcling and the starter kit would probably cost me around £130 from my local exotic pet store, but I am in 2 minds, 1 being because of cost and 2 because I like the idea of having a baby corn to watch and progress in life, and become used to us from the very beginning

views would be appreciated!!

Buying a young animal and watching it grow is always a more reqarding experience. You may be spending more money, but it’s so awesome to watch an animal grow. I’ve had snakes in the past. Baby one’s and one’s that I have bought from people. Honestly, its best to get a young one from a store, that way the snake get’s used to you and grows up around you. When you buy one from someone that’s already grown, they have gotten used to their past owners and their behaviors might be different.
