Confuse guy

My ex girlfriend of 4 1/2 years wants to be my best friend! she texted me after 2 months of not seeing each other and talked to each other. She tells me that she thinks that her boyfriend that she has right now is cheating on her. Her boyfriend left his phone on her car and she saw texts from some other girl. She calls me to tell her what do I think about that> I told her that I dont know who this guy is and she must decide what does she wants. I found out as well thats hes has a kid cuasue she told me too. She tells me she doesnt know what to do anymore and comes to me asking me what do I think. She tells me his daughters mother is his best friend and now she wants me to be her best friend. I dont know what all these means, is she considering to comeback to me or just friends?

Doesnt she have a mother, or a gf she can confide in? If she wants a best friend..she shouldnt be looking at an ex. Especially after 41/2 yrs! Sounds like because shes having problems with her bf, shes falling back on you for pity!

well that could be complicated. she might just being doing this to make her man jealous. maybe she doesn’t like the fact that he’s so close to his ex and she wants to make him mad by doing the same thing. just watch the way she talks to you and you’ll be able to tell if she wants you back

She feels doubtfulness and looks for a supporter. It is your decesion that you will assist her in this confused love affair or not, maybe you can get her back after a time, maybe not, in the latter case you will be the best friend who will know all the details of their emotional problems (crying on your shoulder). There are some males who like this role near a girl, some others do not like this.
