compare & contrast paper

How do you start off a compare and contrast paper? my paper is comparing and contrasting world war II and the iraq war.please help!!!

Start with a general introduction. e.g. the WWII killed XXX pepole during 19 -… and the iraq war killed XX people during 19-

also say shortly in your general introduction who was involved.

Then start paragrahp by paragraph comparing, who was involved What started it When did it happen etc etc.

World war II began in 1939 as a European conflict between (whoever it was between), and spread throughout most of the world. It was the biggest war (or whatever) etc etc etc. There have been several smaller (use a better word here) wars since the war that was meant to end all wars. Currently, there is an ongoing war in Iraq that has captured the attention of the world.

Etc etc… it’s3.30am and I’m not at my best, but you get the idea…
