Whats the difference between “Comcast.’’ and “Microsoft.’’ What exactly are they??

Comcast = cable TV, internet, and VOIP company.
More than likely, you’re operating system is Windows (built by microsoft) and the web browser you’re using Internet Explorer - also by microsoft.
Your cable TV, if you have it, might be purchased from Comcast.
Comcast also puts a bandwidth restriction on internet speed if you use too much.
