What do the different colors mean in flower tattoos?

Answer #1

Hmm. Well I know red obviously would probably mean something along the lines of love and romance. That’s a good question! ..Check on what different colored roses mean like- yellow, pink, orange… maybe that’ll help you out. (:

Answer #2

it depends on what type of flower you are talking about….if your favorite color is yellow and you want a yellow rose to show your new love, a yellow tulip would announce that you believe your love to be hopeless, and for daffidils, their yellow color means uncertainty or unrequited love.

So it’s also about the flower, not just the color.

Answer #3

I think it depends on who the tattoo is on. I dont think theres any set meaning for specific colors, it’s just up to the person who has the tattoo for what it means.

Answer #4

its probably just to identify the flower (i.e a red rose or a white daisy or a yellow daffodill), that is if its a tattoo of a REAL flower, otherwise its just colours they like or wanted or thought would look nice
