Chronic Fatigue

What causes chronic fatigue and does it have anything to do with your genes or does it have to do with what you eat and how you exercise? Is there a way to get over chronic fatigue?

Athough Chronic Fatigue often starts after flu type viruses, or something that effects you mentally (i.e. ALOT of stress), there is no proven cause to where it comes from. There has been slight research resently as to wether it might be of gene origin, but that is not totally reliable.

There is no cure for chronic fatigue but it often goes away as randomly as it comes, for example, you could be over CFS in six months or in three years. People are differently effected with it too, it’s not that you feel constantly tired, just exhasted mentally and physically after doing mental or physical activity which you would normally find fine. Example; People severly effected with Chronic Fatigue can barely walk, and are often assited out the house in a wheel chair. They are advised not to spend much time doing physical activities, or mental onea such as reading or school work. People slightly less severly effected with chronic fatigue (such as yours truly) can get out the house but only to pay the price later. If they decided they were to go shopping, they would feel fine untill it suddenly hit them and they would need to lie down (although lieing down does not make you better, and sleeping does not refresh you) They coiuld be in bed from a day to a week without getting up, depending on wether they are having a good or bad week. The effected stay off school either totally, or get in half a day to three days a week. People lightly effected with CFS can often get on with a day to day lifestyle, just avoiding physically and mentally exhausting activities, such as running or heavy school or office work.

Chronic Fatigue is very similar to a much worse glandular fever, and they check alot for this, so it may be that you are suffering from this. ( I hope so because it’s easy to get rid of )

I think it’s best for you to see a doctor about this, although I have been diagnosed with CFS all experiences of it are different, so my information isnt totally reliable.

Chronic Fatigue is not something that you want. It disrupts your social life MASSIVLY, which means (depending on how ill you are with it) you will have barely no time with your friends, or going out shopping, to the cinema or in town. Even watching the television can become a massive task. It exsists of many other irritating simptoms aswell as tieredness.

If you need anything else about CFS, talk to me.

I don’t think know if there is a proven cause for chronic fatigue but studies have shown that if you are nutrient deficient, have a lot of stress in your life you may develop chronic fatigue.

Recent study featured on cnn showed three genes that were linked to chronic fatigue.

I would talk to your doctor about what to do to see if you do have chronic fatigue. If you are trying everything and are constantly tired then you really should see a doctor.
