How do I know which chemical has a higher boiling point by looking at it's formula?

Answer #1

Look them up in tables of boiling points.

A table for chemical elements, arranged in order of boiling point values, can be found here: http://funadvice.com/r/14qen9kpgt1

You can find similar tables for both organic and inorganic compounds in books and on the internet, but there are so many compounds that exist that it is quite likely that a given table may omit the compounds you are interested in.

Academic institutions provide searchable databases of physical properties of chemical compounds, however these are not normally made publicly available and can only be accessed by bona-fide registered users. An example of such a facility can be found at: http://funadvice.com/r/14qen9kpir5
