How much is a new charging cord for an iPod Touch, and where would I get one?

they are not more than 15 dollars at an electronics store like radioshack. Ebay, Walmart, Amazon, or even Gamestop might sell them. I really recommend you looking at all their online stores to see what they have in stock so you don’t waste time :)

If you want the Apple brand then I think major stores carry them, like Best Buy, Target and Wal-Mart but for a premium price. The Apple brand USB connector at Best Buy is $20 dollars and the one in Amazon that is made in China is around $2 dollars.

if you have a ipod cord that hooks up to a usb then you can just buy a usb converter that plugs into the wall, and those even go for less than apples stuff which is extremely pricey.

Only the $20 ones at reputable vendors like Best Buy are Apple brand. Anything less than $5 dollars in price then is not. But all of the cords, regardless if they are genuine Apple brand $20 ones or cheap knock off are made in China.

yeah but if i use a non-apple cord and something happens, my warranty is voided. I realize all of them are made in China, and they’re probably all made in the same factory!
