What does it mean when it is said, It's raining cats & dogs?
I learned that in the middle ages they would keep cats and dogs on their roofs so their waiste could hold the thatched roof together and whenever it rained they fell off but now its just rainin really hard ha
i think it came from the middle ages. When a heavy rain came, the cats and dogs that had been hiding in the thatched roofing would jump out, looking like it was raining cats and dogs.
