Can your ex that you were with for a year be your bestfriend

Okay so me and my ex were going out for a year but then I cheated on her and and we decided to be bestfriend cause I dont want her ever to leave my life casue she is the best and does anyone think this will work being bestfriend and if we get temped what should I do casue I want her to be my future wife but I cheated on her I want her to gain all those feeling back for me and gain her trust

I think that exes can only be friends when there are clear boundaries and when both agree on and understand that it won’t be anything more. The second there’s a plan behind the friendship to get the person to be with you again, that’s when it’s no longer a do-able friendship.

yes you can be bestfriends.WHY CANT PEOPLE SEE THAT!!!.. .if you guys get tempted just be friends with benefits.. ok..so your a jerk for cheating on her frst of all..(I m not saying that to be mean its just true..) im prety sure she deserves better but I guess everyone deserves a second chance.. watever..if she does ever get back with you she wont love you as much..shell always have that fear of being cheated on again..(this has happened to me before) I am best friends with my ex that cheated on me.. you would need to do a lot to prove to her that you changed..
