he is a domestic shorthaired cat, this is the breed we call the cats without pedigree. Now, about his color, he has indeed tabby marks (stripes) on him but he is mostly white.We refer to that by saying that he is a “red tabby and white”. If you want to be ultra precise, you can name the type of white pattern he has on him. In this case, he is in between 2 categories : harlequin and van. harlequin is mostly white with several large patches of color, van is almost all white with color patches only on the head and tail. Btw, tabby is not a breed it is a color that can be found on many breeds of cats ex. we can see a tabby siamese or a tabby persian, etc.
