Mucus blocks nasal passages, you can use NasalSaline(available at the drug store) and it clears it up pretty well.
Usually its the vessels in your nose are constricting it, like they expand, or swell especially when you are sick… thats why steam, or ice on the bridge of your nose helps, cuz it shrinks your blood vessel.
