bi polar...please answer

is any of yall bi polar.?

cause I have a questionn …

is it true that when you think your bi polar and you go to a doctor that they put in a padded - room ?

then run tests on you ?

aw, no… you go to an office, and uhm “tests” is kind of an odd word. There are no physical tests. They diagnose you by asking you a bunch of questions… So there’s no real test as such…

Thats not true I know plenty of bi polar people. Its just another form of depression. I don’t know where you heard that, but whoever said that should be the one in the padded room:)

No they don’t put you in a padded room, I’m sure they do test you somehow though.

My boyfriend is bi-polar, as far as I know the rubber room thing is false, they generally just run tests, and like ‘colethky’ said, diagnose it from symptoms.

No you don’t go into a padded room…they do run tests on you though, although from what I’ve heard there is no sure fire way to diagnose bipolar. They normally diagnose it from the symptoms (mood swings) that you are having.

.. thats not true.. my brothers bi polar .. we dont know if I am but its a big posibilty but no thats deffinutly not true..
