Best friends- well used to be!

I fell out with a really close friend beginning of july and its now the end of august. we was so close and told each other everythink, I jsut wish we was like this again! Shes willing to be mates again, and I want to, but I just cant! I dont know why either :S she really hurt me. just to fill you in - I had liked a boy for 4 months, met up with him and everythink but wasnt going out, lost out v’s to each other aswell. I told her everythink! but on my birthday party I found out she had been meeting this boy behind my back! :( .. and to cut a long story short, she was meant to be a best mate but she had been meetin this boy behind my back whilst I was.. and well I really just want to forget about it and be friends with her again because we had such a good friendship, but its like my bodies not letting me, even tho I want to! :S .. so has anyone got any advice, would you just try and go back to old times or what? xx

I wouldnt do it. what kind of friend goes behind their best friends back and she obviously didnt tell you EVERYTHING, because she was seeing the guy you like behind your back. and friends dont do that to friends. just move on and try and find someone who isnt going to backstab you like that.

You can’t go back to old times. Move on, the future is always better. Your friend obviously didn’t appreciate you then and your just going to set yourself up to get hurt again. Tell her you’re sorry but you just can’t put your feelings on the line for someone you’ve known to be unreliable. You told her everything, but she obviously didn’t tell you everything. The best loves and friendships go both ways. You’ll find it if you’re patient.

def initially dont go back to her. friends dont do that to other friends especially after what you two did. and she should have respected you enough to not do that to her “best friend”. find somone knew that will treat you like you deserve to be treated. no like just another friend I can find someone new.
