best friends causeing drama now that she is dating ex boyfriend

my boy friend and I broke up, and now he is dating my best friend, who stall the drama with him and me… she has also started telling everyone at my school lies about me and the school only has about 120 people; 30 per grade. and I keep gettin in trouble for things I dont even know about cause what she says, I tried to confront her and she bit my head off saying I need to `cut the drama crap but I sit there and take it all in all day and do nothing, I loved her too much to even talk crap about her… any one have an idea of what I should do?

There’s not a lot you can do to stop rumors, eventually they’ll get old but it takes time. She’s obviously really immature by the sounds of it.
